Modification: Hella Auxiliary Lighting Last Updated: Friday, August 25, 2006

The stock lighting on this truck is pretty poor. I decided to add some serious lighting power. I went with Hella FF1000 Driving lights. They are roughly 7" round and do a real good job of lighting up way down the road. In fact they are so bright I usually don't use them unless I'm out in the woods or there is no city lights. The fog lights are Hella's Jumbo 220's. The dimensions are about 8x5. They are angled far off to the side to be more for cornering than fog lights. They really do help with the side lighting.

The wiring was also custom for these. The driving lights are controlled by a two way switch. Auto or off where "auto" comes on whenever the high beams are turned on. The fog lights are controlled by a three way switch. Auto-on-off where "auto" and "off" work the same as the driving lights, but "on" turns them on whenever the lights are turned on. The switches also have an LED to see them at night.
