Modification: Rotors, Pads & Shoes Last Updated: Wednesday, April 29, 2009

The truck was due for some brake and rotor upgrades. The pads were worn down and there was vibration under hard breaking at higher speeds. The vibration was mostly due to warped rotors. I went with Powerslot rotors and Porterfield pads. I went ahead and replaced the shoes as well so the pad compound was the same front and rear even though the shoes were hardly worn.

Installinstation was fairly straight forward. The truck is 4 wheel drive so the front hubs had to be disassembled in order to get the rotors off. Since I was taking them apart it was time to regrease them as well.
