Modification: ACT Heavy Duty Performance Clutch Last Updated: Saturday, May 24, 2008

I decided to replace the clutch when I took the engine out so I wouldn't have to worry about it at a later time. I went with an ACT clutch. It's about 28% stiffer than the stock one. Upon taking the old clutch out I noticed that it was still in good condition and looked fairly new. It's possible it could have also been an aftermarket clutch, but there were no marking on it so it's hard to tell. The throw out bearing that came with the kit was the wrong one so I had to go get the correct one.

After driving around with it for awhile it definetly has a springier feeling to it, but the stiffness isn't at all difficult to drive with or displeasing. I still need to get more used to it, but it definetly seems worth it.
